BOTTLE COLLECTION

PART I of II

Firstly, during my own time, I will be going to various houses within the CNB (Community of Neighbours Without Borders, a nonprofit organization main situation within the Clareview area of Edmonton), and collecting recyclable bottles from family friends. I will then take these bottles to the Fort Road Bottle Depot and raise funds towards the project. This first aspect will last during the times of March 2019-November 2020. During this time, I will also be collecting monetary donations as well as school supply donations small enough to fit inside a small suitcase.

PART I of II

The second aspect of this overall project is the hosting of the donation party. During December 2020, I will be visiting the Philippines and touching base with the principal of the elementary school. Once we have confirmed the final details of the party, I will be shopping for school supplies using the funds of the bottle collection and monetary donations. I will then take these bought school supplies as well as the previously mentioned school supply donations with me to Talenceras Elementary School. I will then spend some of my own money to cater the event and formally give the donations to the elementary children.
